Women's Equality Day this year commemorates the 99th anniversary of the adoption of the Nineteen Amendment to the US Constitution that guaranteed women the right to vote.

Here at BRCSJ HQ, Community Outreach Coordinator Carol Watchler will lead a women’s equality event on Sunday 18 August to commemorate this auspicious occasion. We are gathering to celebrate that achievement of the past, take an honest look at women’s equality in the present, & raise a vision for our future.
We invite all women & our non-binary friends to join in an afternoon with light refreshments, camaraderie, & circles of conversation to probe the steps that will take us to fully sharing across gender boundaries in the benefits & responsibilities in our society.
We eagerly look forward to this moment to celebrate those whose shoulders we stand on & the ways we can connect for our future.
