HOLIDAY SAFE-SPACE SPECTACULAR
Stay tuned, true believers, for fabulous guest stars & more 411, but as the holidays approach, our Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice is very cognizant of the needs of our folx during these especially difficult times.
In the past we have opened our doors on Christmas Day, gathering together hundreds, whether they be in need of a safe-space that day or looking to provide such for others. This year we are heartbroken we will not be able to do such at our physical HQ, but feel we might have an even greater opportunity to help exponentially more folx by opening our doors virtually. Using the same model as our incredibly successful "Virtual Pride" this summer which pivoted our Pride Parade from the streets to a virtual space thereby gathering over 10,000 viewers, we intend to host a Holiday Safe-Space Spectacular on our Social Justice Power Hour to create an inspirational event for our LGBTQIA kids, intersectional families, & all our beautifully diverse communities.
As so many of us will not be able to share this holiday with family, please come share this time with CHOSEN family
