Shane Diamond
“Changing The Game”
A transgender advocate, educator, & former women’s college ice hockey player, Shane serves as the Impact Campaign Coordinator for “Changing the Game”, a documentary film about three transgender high school athletes who fight to compete as their authentic selves in their respective sports. Their stories span across the U.S.~ from Sarah, a skier & teen policymaker in New Hampshire to Andraya, a track star in Connecticut openly competing on the girls track team. The film centers on Mack Beggs, who made headlines when he became the Texas State Champion in girls wrestling~ as a boy. Shane's focus is on building & developing educational materials, community resources, & outreach opportunities to bring the lifesaving power of sport to trans youth across the country, one film screening at a time.
”Changing The Game” will make its streaming premiere June 1st on Hulu & we’re proud to have Shane on the eve of its inspirational showing!
