Our Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice is proud to present a LIVE IN-PERSON BENEFIT CONCERT featurin' folk musician extraordinaire DAVID BRAHINSKY & friends Noemi Bolton & Guy DeRosa!
A local legend & inspirational figure in the community for decades, David is a singer, songwriter, & guitarist who has been playin' music from the folk tradition~ from the Child Ballads to Bob Dylan~ for over forty years as one of the founders of the Roosevelt Arts Project & has served as the lead singer for The Roosevelt String Band for the last 25 years.
David has been presentin' his incredibly popular First Friday Folk series at our BRCSJ Social Justice Power Hour & now we are thrilled to welcome all y'all to witness the musical magic live & in-person.
As an added bonus, openin' for David will be the über-talented up & comer Super Jack~ genre-bending vocalist, lyricist, multi-instrumentalist, & producer.
All proceeds from this very special show benefit our very much in need Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice, an educational enclave, community activist center, & safe-space for our LGBTQIA kids, our intersectional families, & all our beautifully diverse folks, connecting our disparate communities, both locally & nationally.
If you cannot afford full ticket price, please contact us as financial difficulties will never bar access for any of our community members to any of our events, be they fundraisers or not!
