It has been far too long that many in our LGBTQIA communities have been reluctant, even scared, to enter various houses of worship & rightfully so. The work that many Affirming spaces of various faiths are doing shows how far we have come but we can all agree there is still much of a journey ahead of us.
In that respect, we would like to invite all to share in a dedicated conversation about the work many good folks are doing in this respect, how we might inspire others to follow in their footsteps in their own houses & places, & as well let our friends, allies, & families know that there are indeed safe & welcoming spaces of faith that will not only accept them but embrace them.
